Newnan, GA - 00 AM service disconnection, including one hour of standby time. After disconnection, we removed the old mast, roof boot, and weatherhead, then installed new components, ensuring proper sealing and weatherproofing. Although the existing service entrance cable appeared undamaged, we could not confirm its condition until inspection. If damage is found, permitting and additional upgrades may be required by the utility company and county authority, including cable replacement, a new outdoor disconnect, a grounding electrode system, a surge protector, and smoke detectors. Our work concludes with preparation for utility reconnection, which is scheduled by the utility company.

Today, I installed two new GFCI-protected circuits, multiple receptacles, a lighting switch leg, and three data drops. I installed five 1900 electrical boxes, including one for the switch leg. Four boxes were fitted with 2-gang Decora-style plate covers and receptacles. The GFCI circuits were installed and tested for proper operation. The electrical panel was replaced, and a whole-home surge protector was added. I provided a temporary panel labeling sheet for the customer. Three Cat6 data drops were installed, with one in each designated bedroom and the third in the master bedroom, all tested for proper connectivity. All work was verified to be in proper working condition.

I installed two light fixtures and diagnosed an electrical circuit for the back porch. The circuit had been disconnected during a previous renovation. Using specialized equipment, I located and reconnected the circuit to the panel. After reconnecting, I tested all devices and wiring, confirming proper operation. Both damaged receptacles were replaced. The circuit is now GFCI protected and operates on a 15-amp breaker, tested and confirmed to be functioning correctly.

I addressed the intermittent flickering of the recessed lights in the kitchen by inspecting the fixtures and connections. After identifying loose wiring and a faulty dimmer switch, I replaced the faulty components and ensured all connections were secure. Additionally, I diagnosed the ground-fault outlet by testing its functionality and found a tripped circuit. I reset the circuit and confirmed the outlet was working correctly, ensuring safety and reliability in the kitchen.
